We just love going to Italy. It’s our favorite holiday destination. So last Summer, we decided to explore some new areas of the country. But before we made our journey to Tuscany, we stayed in Milan for a couple of days. We had already visited the historic city, so I decided to do a little research for this trip.

When I’m researching a place, I always try to find spooky places. My husband Erik is used to it by now, but my now 11-year-old son Jesse is sometimes a bit more difficult to enthuse. So, when I discovered the Cimitero Monumentale di Milano during my research, it wasn’t easy to have everyone on board. But, as always, he loved the place! This is a photo report of our visit there. I’ve never seen so many huge grave monuments, mausoleums and unusual monuments in one place! Please note that all these pictures are my own pictures.

Must-visit in Milan!

If you ever visit Milan, don’t just visit the highlights. There’s so much more to see! And if you are a fan of the paranormal this cemetery is a real must-visit. I hope you enjoyed this photo report! Perhaps not a haunted place but it’s pretty haunting nonetheless!
